Known Issues

Issue Case Number
The Reports Console does not support a username to contain a comma

n/a
The AIR Console, LEM Reports, and LEM Appliance must be all using the same software version

n/a
Unable to login to LEM 5.7 from AIR console via secured connection

n/a

n/a
There is not a remote update for mac agents. Use the 5.3.1 mac agent.

n/a
nDepth search has been configured to ignore special characters. Letter and numbers 0-9 are searched, but other characters force a phrase search. For example, searching for 192.210.3.43 performs a phrase search on those four numbers and returns event data having those contiguous numbers in that exact order.

n/a
When using Outlook to view Scheduled Search emails, the body text is all on one line. Click "Restore line breaks" to correct this issue

n/a
"This field name is not known. Error Code: -2147191858" display while using "Select Expert" with special fields on Database Maintenance Report and Database Alert Statistics

n/a
Active Response action "Disable Networking" is not working on 64-bit machines

n/a
The time zone is incorrectly set when manually selected by a user from the Etc option. This is by design and will not be fixed.

n/a
Several vulnerabilities may be found during scans that do not pose a problem.
  • X.509 Certificate Subject CN Does Not Match the Entity Name
  • This can be resolved by setting up forward and reverse DNS. You can also export a certificate signing request (CSR) and have it signed by a third-party Certificate Authority (CA), then load that signed certificate into the appliance. This require s DNS to be properly configured.
  • Untrusted TLS/SSL server X.509 certificate
  • This is due to the self-signed nature of our certificate. Resolve this by installing an SSL certificate signed by a Certificate Authority.
  • ICMP timestamp response
  • LEM responds to all ICMP messages. If you like, you can choose to block all ICMP packets.
