These release notes provide additional guidance for Log & Event Manager 6.0.

New Features and Improvements

Log & Event Manager 6.0 includes the following new features and improvements:

 

  • File Integrity Monitoring to monitor real-time changes to files, directories, registry keys, and values on Windows agents
  • New connectors for LOGbinder EX, Cisco, VMware, and more
  • Performance enhancements for Rules

  • This can be resolved by setting up forward and reverse DNS. You can also export a certificate signing request (CSR) and have it signed by a third-party Certificate Authority (CA), then load that signed certificate into the appliance. This require s DNS to be properly configured.
  • Untrusted TLS/SSL server X.509 certificate
  • This is due to the self-signed nature of our certificate. Resolve this by installing an SSL certificate signed by a Certificate Authority.
  • ICMP timestamp response
  • LEM responds to all ICMP messages. If you like, you can choose to block all ICMP packets.
