These release notes provide additional guidance for Log & Event Manager v5.6.

New Features and Improvements

Log & Event Manager v5.6 includes the following new features and improvements:

  • Replaced folders with customizable tags and categories in rules
  • Categorized and tagged all out of the box rules according to common monitoring goals
  • Create tags/categories and assign multiple tags to a rule
  • Improved storage and search of normalized data
  • Improved database archiving with differential model
  • Updated nDepth search to display visual results progressively as they are returned
  • Introduced LEM Workstation Edition licensing
  • Added several customer requested rule templates and new connectors
