LEM is unresponsive or appears offline

LEM appears to be offline or unresponsive and displays the following symptoms:

  • The Desktop Console doesn't connect or your Web Console won't load.
  • The Reports Console may not run a report correctly.
  • One or more of your partitions may be full or close to full (viewable from your hypervisor console or CMC console). For example, the LEM partition is 100% full.

The service may have crashed due to insufficient resources, excessive rules firing, and so on.


  1. Reboot your LEM. See Rebooting the LEM Appliance.
  2. If any of your partitions are still full and you still can't access your console, please contact SolarWinds Support.
