Disable nDepth raw log storage

Overview

This article describes how to disable nDepth raw log storage.

Environment

LEM 6.2.1 and earlier

Steps

Determine if nDepth raw log storage is enabled

  1. Log in to the cmc by using ssh to the LEM appliance on port 32022.
  2. Type manager
  3. Type configurendepth

If nDepth raw log storage is enabled, it will be reported as enabled. If nDepth raw log storage is not enabled you will be prompted to enable or not.

Disable nDepth raw log storage

  1. Log in to the cmc by using ssh to the LEM appliance on port 32022.
  2. Type manager
  3. Type configurendepth 
  4. Type y when asked at the prompt to disable nDepth raw log storage.

 

Note: If nDepth Raw log storage had previously been enabled, is not needed and the historical information collected is no longer needed, open Support case to have the now unneeded data removed.
