Change LEM host name

Overview

This article provides steps to change the host name of LEM.

Environment

LEM version 5x or later

Steps

1. Create an SSH session to the LEM.

2. From the CMC prompt enter Appliance command  .

3. From CMC\Appliance prompt enter hostname command 

4. press Enter to confirm.

5. type "yes" when prompted to confirm.

6. Enter a new host name.

 

These steps will notify all online agents. Any offline agents will need a manual modification of the configuration or to uninstall and reinstall depending on circumstance.
