Flex Error #1001 in Web Console after upgrading LEM appliance

Overview

After upgrading the LEM appliance and accessing the LEM Web Console, you get the following error message: 

Flex Error #1001: Digest Mismatch with RSL
Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library

Environment

  • Recently upgraded LEM appliance
  • LEM Web Console from any browser

Resolution

  1. Clear the browser's cache and cookies.
  2. Refresh the web browser and open the LEM Web Console.
  3. If the error persists, open this site in the same browser to load the Flash configuration page. 
  4. In the Flash configuration page, uncheck the Allow third-party Flash contents to store data on your computer.
  5. You also need to uncheck the Store common flash components to reduce download times.
  6. Click Confirm when the notification appears to clear the cache.
  7. Recheck the boxes from steps 3 and 4.
  8. Refresh the web browser and try the web console
  9. If protected mode is enabled temporarily disable it in Internet options.
  10. Close the web browser and try again. (Don't forget to go back and enable protected mode)

Cause

Some LEM Web Console data cached in the browser is outdated.
