Overview

This article provides steps to enable (or disable) the SNMP Trap Listening Service in LEM.

Environment

All LEM versions        

Detail

LEM can accept SNMP traps sent by devices on your network if you enable the SNMP Trap Listening Service.

 

To Enable the LEM SNMP Trap Listening Service

 

1. Log in to LEM cmc
2. Enter the following commands:

cmc> service
cmc::scm# enablesnmp  
      

NB: disablesnmp - Disables the SNMP Trap Listening Service

 

Currently LEM normalizes SNMP traps from:

  • Sophos
  • ManageEngine
  • Motorola
