Overview

This article provides information about how much data your events are taking up on the disk for LEM and see how many days are in database.

Environment

All LEM versions

Steps

Go to the backend using the putty or Vsphere console > click Enter in Advance Configuration.

Open or install the Reports Software and run the Database Maintenance Report.

On the left column under Database Time Span, the number beside Alert shows how many days worth of data LEM has.

Note:  There is no setting on the LEM to set the length of time to store data and it just shows storage space. This information is helpful if your going to have to calculate how much space you will need since everybodys network is different and LEM'logs are different for everyone as well.
