Configure LEM to use a static IP address

Overview

Follow these steps to configure LEM to use a static IP address, or if you need to change a previously configured IP addresses. 

Environment

  • All versions of LEM.

Steps

  1. Access the CMC prompt:
    • Virtual Console: Arrow down to Advanced Configuration, and then press Enter.
    • SSH Client: Log in using your CMC credentials.
  2. In the cmc> prompt, enter applianceThe prompt changes to cmc::acm#indicating you are in the appliance configuration menu.
  3. In the acm> prompt, run netconfig command.
    • NOTE: All the network configuration information must be available with you as you go through all the prompted steps.
