Overview

'Solarwinds failed to start'

'Solarwinds' failed to start worker process: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. (0x80070569).

                                                         

Environment

  • All LEM versions
  • Hyper-V 2012

Cause 

The virtual machine user is not authorized for the Log on as a Service permission.

Resolution

This can be resolved by adding the appropriate permission to the applicable policy in Group Policy Management. Refer to this Microsoft Support page for details.
