Overview

SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server 9.5 Hotfix 1

http://downloads.solarwinds.com/solarwinds/Release/HotFix/KSS-v9.5-HotFix1.zip

This HotFix addresses the following issue: Kiwi Syslog Server (KSS) does not provide User Access Control prompt when standard user or an administrator launches the KSS console.

This fix addresses an issue regarding the failure to get the UAC prompt which causes two issues:

  • Kiwi Syslog Server crashes when opening the "Enter License details".
  • Kiwi Syslog Server console fails to create a tech support file.

Note: This Hotfix requires SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server v9.5.

Warning: SolarWinds strongly recommends that you only edit the necessary files as instructed. Any additional modifications to the files may result in system performance issues or may create an error state.

Environment

  • Kiwi Syslog Server v9.5.0
