Receive reports in Kiwi Syslog Server

Overview

Kiwi Syslog Server does not have a reporting feature that provides exportable graphs and/or charts.  However, there are two ways to get statistics regarding incoming syslog message traffic.  

Environment

  • All versions of Kiwi Syslog Server
  • All versions of Windows

Detail

  •  From the Kiwi Syslog Server manager, click View > View Syslog Statistics.
  •  Configure your Kiwi Syslog Server to email you a 24-hour statistics report.  To do this:
  1. From the Kiwi Syslog Server manager, click File> Setup.
  2. Click E-mail.
  3. Select Send statistics via e-mail to,  and enter your email address.

 

You should receive an email with statistics that looks like the following:
