Multiple filters in a Kiwi Syslog Server rule

Table of contents

Updated March 11th, 2016

Overview

This article provides information on using rules with multiple filters.

Environment

All Kiwi Syslog versions

Detail

Kiwi Syslog applies the rules and filters in a top-to-bottom sequence.

If multiple filters are set up in a rule, all Syslogs need to comply with all of the filters before the relative action can be carried out.

A Syslog that matches one filter, and not the next filter will not trigger the action for the rule.
