Overview

This article provides screen shots for  Log Kiwi Syslog Daemon to a MS SQL database.

 

Environment

All Kiwi Syslog versions

Steps

  1. Create DB for Kiwi Syslog  in SQL Server.
  2. Create ODBC (System DSN) on Kiwi Syslog Server.
  3. Create Action in Kiwi Syslog to Store syslogs in MS SQL DB.
  • Create DB for Kiwi Syslog in SQL Server

On your SQL server create new database called Kiwi  SQL Studio Express 

 

 

  • Create ODBC (System DSN) on Kiwi Syslog Server

Select the System Data Source, and click Add. Follow the prompts to create the ODBC on Kiwi Syslog Server.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Call the SQL DSN Under Kiwi Syslog Server Setup and verify the ODBC Connection

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Data will be stored within the SQL server with Kiwi database.
