Kiwi Syslog Server changes are not applied

Overview

Account types on the Kiwi Syslog Server are unable to view changes made to new or existing rules, filters and actions.

Environment

All Kiwi Syslog versions

Cause

This can occur when changes are made with user Domain Admin accounts affected by Group Policy settings.

Resolution

Perform the changes at the Local Administrator level, or run the program as an administrator and change settings for all users.
