Kiwi Syslog Forward to host sending multiple syslogs

Overview

This article provides brief information and steps User has rules setup in Kiwi Syslog to forward logs to remote host.

Environment

All Kiwi Syslog versions

Cause 

User had a single rule with a filter on all priorities and with an action for each priority to Forward the syslog to remote host.

Resolution

  1. Disable the Rule.
  2. Create multiple rules each rule filtering on a single priority.
  3. Create single action for each rule to forward the Syslog to remote host with priority unchanged.
