Kiwi Web Access stuck at Evaluation, 14 days left

Note: Is kiwi Web Access (KWA) working after applying the license? For example, even after 14 days of evaluation period on applying license


  • Clear the browser cache and check with KWA. Try using different browsers.
  • A repair/or uninstall needs to be done to the KWA.


  1. Create a backup of all necessary KWA files in
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Kiwi Syslog Web Access\html\App_Data.
    • Go to Installation folder \syslogd\setup.
  2. Run the KiwiSyslogWebAccess_1.5.2_Setup.
  3. Check the String value DaysLeft set in registry as follows:
    • 64 bit machine
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SolarWinds\Syslogd\Registration
    • 32 bit machine
    • HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\SolarWinds\Syslogd\\Registration
    • Note: A Licensed version of KSS should have the DaysLeft value set to -1. If this is not the same, update the value by editing the DaysLeft string.
  4. Login to KWA and verify whether the changes are reflected. 
    • Note: If the changes did not take effect, delete this string Value and check in KWA.
