Kiwi Syslog Server service is halting regularly

The Kiwi Syslog Server service is halting every few hours or days with the following error in the Errorlog.txt file:

Error 9

Description: Subscript out of range
Module Name: syslogsvc.frm
Procedure name: ipdaemonS1_connected
Line number 10


  • All Windows versions
  • Kiwi Syslog Server 9.5


There are too many TCP connections.


Warning: Consult your System Administrator before performing this procedure. It is strongly recommended that you back up your registry before making any edits to your system registry. You should only edit the registry if you are experienced and confident in doing so. Using a registry editor incorrectly can cause serious issues with your operating system. These issues may require you to reinstall your operating system in order to correct them. SolarWinds cannot guarantee resolutions to any damage resulting from making registry edits.

  1. Run the Registry Editor and open the following key:
  2. Create a new string value with name InputTLSMaxConnections and set the value as 1000.
  3. Restart the Kiwi Syslog service.
