Enable logging for Kiwi Web Access installation

Overview

This article provides steps to log the details of a Kiwi Syslog installation process using a Kiwi Web Access application parameter. 

Environment

  • Kiwi Syslog Server version 9.x or later
  • All Windows versions

Steps

  1. Open an elevated CMD window.
  2. Open the following directory:
  • c:\program files(x86)\syslogd\setup\
  1. Run the following command:
  • kiwisyslogwebaccess_{highest version}_setup.exe /log c:\kiwiwebinstall.log
  1. Once an error is received, open the following file for analysis:
  • c:\kiwiwebinstall.log
