Overview

The following error message is displayed when launching Kiwi CatTools:

For security purposes, this program will not run while system debuggers are active. Please remove or disable the system debugger before trying to run this program again.

Environment

All Kiwi CatTools versions

Cause 

When a program comes across an unexpected error in its code, it searches for a debugger to have the error corrected. When the debuggers are active, the program stops and displays the error.

Resolution

Disable any installed debuggers or disable script debugging in Internet Explorer. Refer to What should you do about Internet Explorer script errors?
