Overview

The following error occurs when creating a backup of Cisco router using the Kiwi software:

Error: Connect failed: 30002: Please set your login for selected protocol.

All Kiwi CatTools versions

Detail

  • Creating a backup of your Cisco router using Kiwi CatTools with telnet is successful if it is disabled and SSH enabled. 
  • Connecting to the router using credentials in the Device Properties is possible.  

Resolution

  1. Instead of selecting AAA username and password, select SSH username and password. 
  2. Rerun craeting a backup of your Cisco router.
