Changing Cisco ASA to use Login in place of enable command in Kiwi CatTools

Overview

When a user logs into Cisco ASA with SSH, it is possible to use the login command in place of the enable mode.

Environment

  • Kiwi CatTools 3.10

Steps

  1. Go to the device in the device pane and select edit.
  2. In Device info, check the relevant SSH mode.
  3. In Passwords, enter the SSH and AAA username and password. Leave check boxes unchecked.
  4. Click the Variations tab and select User variations.
  5. Click  Additional commands.
  6. Check the enter enable mode box and type in the word login in place of enable.
  7. Save and test.
