Overview

This article discusses how Kiwi CatTools stores and handles backup files.

Environment

Kiwi CatTools 3.6 to 3.10

Detail

Kiwi CatTools stores the backup files in the configs folder under the installation folder. When the backup is run, it is compared to the previous backup and if there are no changes, the file in the configs is unchanged. If CatTools detects a change in the backup, it stores the old backup in the Dated configs folder and stores the latest backup in the Configs folder.
