Cattools not showing latest version after upgrade

Table of contents

Updated December 6, 2016

Overview

After upgrading from Kiwi CatTools 3.11 to 3.11.1, you may find that the system still shows version 3.11.

Environment

Kiwi CatTools version 3.11.1

Detail

After upgrading to CatTools 3.11.1, the CatTools management window shows version 3.11 both on the page header and in the Help About.

This can be misleading but to verify that the upgrade did complete successfully, it is necessary to go to the installation folder c:\programfiles(x86)\cattools3 and right-click on the CatTools_Manager.exe file. Once this opens, go to the details page and confirm that the 'Date modified' is 9/14/2016. The 3.11.0 version would show 5/17/2016.
