Unable to add Bind DNS server on IPAM for monitoring.

IPAM version 4.1 and later

Do not use the unsupported special characters from Bash prompt of Bind DNS server.

The special characters used in the Bash prompt of Bind DNS server interferes with the parsing logic of IPAM.

The following Bash prompt special characters are not supported by IPAM v4.3.

Bash Character

the current working directory

the base name of the current working directory

an ASCII bell character (07)

the current time in 24-hour HH:MM:SS format

the command number of this command

the character corresponding to the octal number nnn

[root@localhost nn]]

begin a sequence of non-printing characters, which could be used to embed a terminal control sequence into the prompt

the current time in 12-hour HH:MM:SS format

the history number of this command

the version of bash (e.g., 2.00)

an ASCII escape character (033)

carriage return

]]# t@localhost

the format is passed to strftime(3) and the result is inserted into the prompt string; an empty format results in a locale-specific
time representation. The braces are required
