Issue:
User does not have the option to scan a subnet in IPAM. The Scan button shows as grayed out. The user is also logged in as a Domain Administrator or as a local Admin account in Orion.

Resolution:

  1. Log into the Orion website and click on Settings->Manage Accounts->Groups.
  2. Select the Group associated with the affected user and click Edit.
  3. Scroll to IP Address Manager Settings and expand it by clicking the plus icon.
  4. Change the IPAM Roles & Permissions from Read Only to either Power User or Admin and click the Submit button.

The user must have either Power User or Admin permissions within IPAM to scan subnets.
