Resources are missing from the Summary page after an IPAM upgrade

Updated July 7, 2017

Overview

The IPAM Summary page is empty and all resources are missing after upgrading to IPAM 4.5.

Environment

IPAM 4.5.2 and older

Resolved in IPAM 4.6

Cause

This issue is caused by a bug in the product when a domain admin account instead of a local admin account was used during an installation or upgrade.

Resolution

Upgrade to IPAM 4.6 or later

Uninstall older version of IPAM

install IPAM 4.6 or later

Workaround for earlier versions of IPAM

See the Add resources and columns to views, and define subviews article on how to manually re-add the missing resources to the IPAM Summary page.
