Recover deleted groups, supernets, subnets, IP addresses

Overview

A group that contains supernets, which in turn contained subnets then IP addresses was deleted.

This article provides steps to recover this data from a backup of the database.

All IPAM versions

Steps

The only supported method is to restore a good backup of the database from before the group was deleted.

Note: All data that was polled and stored in the database since the backup was taken will be lost.

  1. Stop All Orion Services using Orion Service Manager.
  2. Restore the backup of the database (This is to be done by the database administrator).
  3. Start All Orion Services using Orion Service Manager.
