Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Click Settings > All Settings.
  3. Under Product Specific Settings, click IPAM Settings.
  4. Click Subnet Scan Settings.
  5. Change the Transient Period to Unlimited Duration
When a IP address stops responding to pings, it will be marked as transient at the end of the transient period it is marked as available and all data is deleted. If you have a unlimited transient then the IP will be marked as transient and no changes will be made to the data.
