Editing DHCP Scopes

IPAM allows you to edit the scope detail properties of an existing DHCP Scope.

To edit an existing DHCP Scope:

  1. Click IP Address Manager in the menu bar.
  2. Click DHCP& DNS Monitoring.
  3. Click Scopes.
  4. Select the Scope Name that you want to edit by using the check box.
  5. Click Edit Scope Details in the menu bar.

    You can edit the name/description and/or add custom fields.

  6. Click Next.
  7. Edit the IP Address range and or click Add Exclusion.


  8. Click Next.
  9. Define the lease duration.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Define DNS options as needed.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Review changes and click Update Scope.

When editing you may see a pop-up message if the scope is not a Windows 2008 R2 DHCP Server. You can ignore this message.
