New Features and Improvements in IPAM 4.3.1

IPAM 4.3.1 includes the following new features and improvements:

  • IPAM 4.3.1 uses Orion Platform version 2015.1.3.

New Features and Improvements in IPAM 4.3

IPAM 4.3 includes the following new features and improvements:

  • Improved IPAM/UDT Integration
  • New IP Address Conflict Resource displays types of IP conflicts along with MAC, Source Port, AD username, and Wifi SSID.
  • Side-by-side comparisons of end point details.
  • Troubleshooting steps for each type of conflict.
  • MS SQL 2014 Support.

Note: If you install IPAM and NPM on the same server, NPM will need to be on version 11.0.1 or higher and any additional pollers and websites must also be upgraded accordingly.

  • SolarWinds does not recommend managing more than 3 million addresses per installation.
  • Prior to installation, ensure you first create a backup of your database.
  • Test the change in a lab environment that mimics your production environment. If you need a temporary license to install an instance of the software in a lab, please download an evaluation copy of the latest software from our website. Evaluation copies come with a fully functional 30-day license.

Fixed the issue where the DNS Mismatch resource in the IPAM summary page is not working correctly when the resource needs to populate a large number of DNS Mismatch records (Hot Fix 1).
