Overview

This article provides information on how IPAM determines license utilization.

 

Environment

All  versions of IPAM

Detail

The following IP Address Statuses count towards your IPAM license:

  1. Used Addresses
  2. Reserved Addresses
  3. Transient Addresses

 

Run the following query against your database to return the total number of used, transient & reserved addresses:

SELECT COUNT (*) FROM IPAM_Node WHERE Status IN (1, 4, 8)

 

  1. To run a query, connect to your database using Database Manager or SQL Server Management Studio.
  2. Right-click on your Orion database > New Query.
  3. Enter the Query above in the Query Editor window.
  4. Click Execute.
