Data is not available in the Web Console charts.

Environment

  • All IPAM versions
  • SolarWinds products using Orion Platform 2012.1 and later

Detail

In most cases, data is not available for charting in the Web Console for one of the following reasons:

  • The viewed network object was only recently added and has not completed a full polling cycle. If this is the case, data will be written to the database and charted shortly, usually within 10 minutes.
  • During the charted time period, the viewed network object is or was in an unmanaged state. Confirm the managed state of the viewed node in Web Node Management. For more information, see "Setting Device Management States" in the SolarWinds Orion NPM Administrator Guide.

It is less likely, but nonetheless possible, that there is another error preventing either effective polling of the viewed network object or effective database communication. Submit a SolarWinds Technical Support ticket for further assistance in diagnosing such a polling or database error.

This article applies to all SolarWinds products using Orion Platform 2012.1 and higher.
