Overview

This article provides steps to reset the FSM default or lost password.

Environment

All FSM versions 

Steps

1. Open isql.exe located in <c:\Program Files\SolarWinds\firebird\bin\>.
2. Connect to a shared database.
3. Connect the following to its fire base SQL:

solarwinds_fsm_server;
update USERS set PASSWD='3699ede1b31107286dd5292daeb9471e35df9b927f4cab0cb9af5d1d75a68183' where USERNAME='admin';
commit;
