"Could not access FSM Orion Web Services on port number <>."

Issue

Firewall Security Manager did not find Orion Web Services on reserved port 17784.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Firewall Security Manager Web service is not running.
Solution: In Control Panels > Services, start FSMWebService.

Firewall Security Manager Web service is not running on the specified Web service port.
Solution: The designated port for FSMWebService is 17784. This port is assigned at Firewall Security Manager installation. Uninstall and re-install Firewall Security Manager.

Specified Web service port is blocked.
Solution: If Firewall Security Manager Web service is running on a remote computer, confirm that there are no network blocks on port 17784.

Could not access FSM Orion Web Services on port number <>.
Solution: The installer could not determine if FSM Orion Web Services is installed, or, if installed, could not determine the FSM Orion Web Services port. Uninstall and re-install Firewall Security Manager, then install Orion Firewall Security Manager Module.

Permissions on c:\windows\TEMP

Solution:  Network Service (The user IIS uses for the Application pool) needs to have modify rights to the c:\windows\temp folder. Once you add and apply you should be able to refresh and complete the installation.
