Overview

This article provides information on the user account used in the FoE Server Manager.

Environment

  • FoE all versions

Detail

FoE Server Manager requires user account which is a member of the local Administrators group in order to manage the FoE server. SolarWinds recommends to use the local server account, unless there are business policies that dictate otherwise. The account shall be created on both nodes from the FoE pair, which will allow for a simplified management (it is possible to have and use different accounts on servers).
