Overview

Failover Engine (FoE) shows the following message:

MemorPages Per Sec is in Warning.

Environment

All FoE versions

Cause

It is a common issue if the hard disk is having performance issues. This warning is shown when a performance counter that FoE reads from the Windows box exceeds its maximum threshold value.

Resolution

Solution 1

The warning message is not so critical, but can be manually cleared.

  1. Go to FoE Console > Events > Application > Summary > Clear.

Solution 2

The warning message can be removed by increasing the threshold value for MemorPages Per Sec:

  1. Go to FoE Console > Applications > Rules > Disk IO > Right Click > Edit.
  2. Increase the threshold value for MemorPages Per Sec.
