FoE shows that the web server is down

Overview

This article explains how to reconfigure FOE if you have installed the Orion Web Console to use another port.

Environment

All FoE versions

Cause 

FoE tests the website set up on port 80 to see if it is up or down.

Resolution

If you have installed the Orion Web Console to use another port, you need to reconfigure FoE as follows:

  1. Open the Applications tab and click Rules > IISServer > Default.
  2. Right click Check website Availability and Edit.
  3. This should be enabled. You can change the hostname and port as required here.
