Overview

This article describes the iissue where FOE failed to replicate sharing violation on a folder error .

Environment

  • NPM version 11.0 and later
  • FOE version 6.0 and later

Cause

By examining the error details found, the SQLExpress edition was installed on the server previously which is no longer in use. However, since it's installed within the Orion NPM directory, FOE has to sync the files and content available. This could cause huge delay to complete the sync between both servers.

Resolution

Create folder execution as show in the images below. This excludes scanning the file during synchronization .

Note: You need to uninstall SQL Express from the both FOE servers as its no longer in use .
