FOE Test Alert Reporting error: Unable to mail alert message: Could not connect to SMTP host localhost

Overview

 

FOE Test Alert Reporting error is failing with the error below:

 

 

Environment

FOE version 6.7

 

Cause 

SMTP server was not added for the secondary server. 

Resolution

  1. Open Mail settings in Server Manager application for FOE.
  2. Add the SMTP server to the secondary for outgoing mail.
