Updated September 13, 2017

As of September 13, 2017, FOE has entered End of Life. SolarWinds recommends migrating to our High Availability offering at your earliest convenience.

Migrate from FOE to SolarWinds High Availability

SolarWinds' High Availability (HA) solution available with NPM 12.2 or any products running on Orion Platform 2017.3 supports redundancy on a LAN or WAN

Depending on your product version and the complexity of your environment, downtime for migrating from FOE to HA can range from 5-15 hours.

  3. Uninstall FOE from your main Orion server.
  4. Deactivate SolarWinds licenses.
