This article describes the issue when installing FoE on Primary server Or Secondary server with an error message stating:

FoE installation failed Collect Data from Secondary [Failed]

The following error appears even when restoring data on Secondary server .

All versions of FoE

This issue occurs due to the required port being blocked by the AV Protection Service.

  1. Check if the Windows Firewall is disabled on both servers on all of the interfaces.
  2. Check if AV firewall is not running such as Symentec.
  3. uninstall the service such as Symantec Network Access Control

Note : In some cases, uninstalling AV does not remove this service.
