This article describes the issue where servers can be added to EOC but polling doesn't work. The Job engine v2 logs display an error message:

ERROR SolarWinds.EOC.PollingService.JobsProcessor - Job failed to execute for Orion 23:BSWSOLWAPP01. System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\EOC\bin\SolarWinds.EOC.Jobs.dll' or one of its dependencies. Operation is not supported. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131515)
File name: 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\EOC\bin\SolarWinds.EOC.Jobs.dll' ---> System.NotSupportedException: An attempt was made to load an assembly from a network location which would have caused the assembly to be sandboxed in previous versions of the .NET Framework. This release of the .NET Framework does not enable CAS policy by default, so this load may be dangerous. If this load is not intended to sandbox the assembly, please enable the loadFromRemoteSources switch. See for more information.

All supported versions of EOC

This issue occurs because Jobs.dll is blocked.

  1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\EOC\bin\SolarWinds.EOC.Jobs.dll.
  2. Right-click the file and go to Properties.
  3. Click unblock and click OK.
  4. Go to Windows services.
  5. Restart the three Solarwinds services.
  6. Re-run EOC and see if Orion servers are now polling.
