EOC map converter does not list maps or import

Overview

This articles details the issue when the Enterprise Operations Console's map converter is opened on the EOC server and the Orion servers show in the drop-down, but the map tool does not list any maps and may return various connection errors.

Environment

All EOC map converter versions

Cause 

The account logged into server is an administrator account in EOC.

Resolution

Confirm that the current user logged in to the Windows system where the Orion2EOCMap importer tool is running is an administrator in EOC. If so, first remove the user's account in EOC and then add using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to manage accounts screen via the settings link.
  2. Click Add New Account.
  3. Select "Windows Individual Account".
  4. Search for and select the user from the search list.
  5. Add the user as an Administrator.
  6. Run the Orion2EOCMap importer tool.
