WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

Configuration Wizard error after Migrating EOC to a different drive on the same system

Overview

When installing Enterprise Operations Console (EOC), it will also install Orion modules:

eoc.png

When you uninstall EOC via "Add/Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features", the uninstall process will only uninstall "SolarWinds Enterprise Operations Console." The additional Orion modules will remain. When attempting to install EOC to a different drive and run the configuration wizard you will receive the error:

Error while executing script- column name or number of supplied values does not match table definition

Environment

All versions of EOC

Resolution

Ensure the EOC and all of it's associated modules are uninstalled before moving EOC to a different drive on the same system.
