Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the following error after migrating your database from the SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008:

ERROR ConfigurationProgressScene - Error while executing script-Invalid column name 'AdminEmailVolumes'.
Invalid column name 'Service'.
Could not use view or function 'EOC_Volume' because of binding errors.

Environment

All EOC versions

Cause

Error is thrown due to the EOC_Volume view definition having reference to non-existing column (AdminEmailVolumes) which has been dropped in previous version of EOC.

Resolution

To solve the issue follow steps below:

  1. Open SQL Management Studio.
  2. Expand the Orion EOC database > Views.
  3. Delete the EOC_Volume view.
  4. Re-run the EOC Configuration Wizard.
