This article describes the issue in EOC when you receive this Configuration Wizard errors as below:

Error while executing script- Invalid column name 'C_WInterface'

Configuration Wizard log shows:

INFO  ConfigurationProgressScene - Configuring core EOC database.
ERROR DBConfigProcessor - Error while executing script - Invalid column name 'C_WInterface'..
ERROR DBConfigProcessor - Failing Sql command: sp_refreshview 'EOC_Interface'
ERROR ConfigurationProgressScene - Error while executing script- Invalid column name 'C_WInterface'.

EOC version 1.6

The issue may be due to custom table been added to the EOC table.

  1. Log on to the SQL Server Connect to the DB using SQL Studio Management Console.
  2. Expand the EOC Database > Views > Select the View called dbo.EOC_Interface.
  3. Right-click and delete.
  4. Re-run the EOC Configuration Wizard.

Note: Make sure a good database backup has already been done before making direct changes to the database.
