Overview

After logging in to EOC, the error below appears:

The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be searched. Inaccessible logs: Security.

Environment

EOC any version in the 1.x series

 

Cause 

Bad DB creds; db credential used for EOC db is expired or no longer valid in some other way.

 

Resolution

  1. Get a new account or an updated EOC database password.
  2. Run the EOC Configuration Wizard at start.
  3. Input the new credentials in the db sections. Let the Configuration Wizzard finish and try the web again.
