EOC map appears corrupted

Updated November 24, 2016

Overview

Maps in EOC may load, but the background image is gone or looks corrupted and the icons on the map for elements may also be abnormal/changed.

Environment

EOC 1.6

Cause

It seems to be related to caching. Resizing the map, saving, and re-sizing the map back should force the map to load freshly.

Resolution

  1. In the EOC Web Console, find the map in question and click Edit.
  2. Change the scale size to another value and click Save.
  3. If the map loads correctly, revert to the previous scale size and check to see that the map still loads correctly.
